Currently ongoing Multiannual financial framework programming period 2014 - 2020 represents a variety of opportunities for distribution of non-returnable EU funding. Approximately €14,7 mld. is being managed and distributed via Structural and Investment Funds of EU. Subsidies for research and innovations by means of new strategic framework „Horizon 2020“ presents an opportunity to distribute another €77 028,3 mil. Last but not least, there are opportunities from Community programmes of EU, national programmes, or grants from various EU fundations.
All these funds and their programmnes present a wide range of opportunities for drawing financial aid on European as well as national level. Programming period 2014-2020 is related to new-made objectives and initiatives of the EU. These are strongly contributed by the experience stemming from preceding programming period (2007 - 2013), resulting in strategies and programmnes, that are more subject-addressed and grounded.
